My friend and I have just launched a side-project named Urban Shots.
Urban Shots is a multicultural attempt to photographically document the urban landscapes of the World. As of now, it is a student-based work comprised of images created by two amateur photographers who grew up together in Frankfurt, Germany.
Tim Köck is currently pursuing his degree in media based IT at the LMU in Munich, Germany. Phil Ammon is pursuing his passion for the fine arts in a cultural studies program at York University, Toronto.
Together, they aim to portray the city as a cultural reflection. While many of the photographs are comprised of architecture, the project also aims to document the people who find their homes in the city. Over the years, the Urban landscape evolves, and these photographs will serve as a bridge between the past and the present.
