Camden Council - Avalon Motocross Camp

The Avalon Project is a multi-skills educational Project for young people in Camden and surrounding London boroughs. Participants receive training in engineering and motorcycle mechanics. Off-road biking is naturally the most popular activity offered, and trips are rewarded to young people who have demonstrated hard work and academic achievement.

As a passionate motorcyclist myself, it was an absolute pleasure to join the Avalon Project to photograph their annual Motocross camp and meet a new generation of riders. It's such a joy when my work brings me into contact with people who are working hard to make an impact on the lives of young people.
